JCVD, Jean Claude Van Damme Movie
All of us, at least all of us watching movies in the 1980’s know Jean Claude Van Damme, The Muscles from Brussels. He starred in many action flicks with sadly deteriorated in quality as time went on. He was pretty safe going when the world were into mindless action films. I have seem people slate his films in the harshest manner and I have also seen then praise him.
I first saw the JCVD trailer a little while ago and thought that the man himself must be getting a little skint and needs to pay some bills, sure he has had regular work throughout the 2000’s but most of it I’ve never heard before and I assume are all low budget offerings which muddy his name further.
But after watching the trailer I have to say that this film looks pretty good, He plays the role of himself but as a out of work actor that is going through a myriad of personal problems and so he returns to Brussels where he is a national hero
He finds himself in a hostage situation and mistakenly the police believe that the man himself is holding up the post office and he has to rely on his brain not his muscles to get out of the situation and protect the hostages.
Check out the trailer, I certainly think that this maybe worth a visit to the cinema, after all IMDB has given it a 7.9 (at time of writing)
